Remote AI training jobs
By Alex. First published 2026-09-01. Pay figures as of 2026-09-09, from live platform feeds.
The listings on this site are remote by default. You sit the interview on a browser, you do the work on a browser, and you get paid through a processor such as PayPal, Deel or Wise. As of 2026-09-09 that is 2,581 open roles, with typical advertised top rates of $55–$120/hr (median $85/hr, from 449 distinct advertised rates across 8 platforms).
"Remote" is not the same as "anyone, anywhere". Many roles are posted worldwide. Many are posted for one country or a short list of countries, even when the work is done at home. A US-only listing will not become a Philippines listing because you have a good internet connection.
Worldwide versus country-specific
- Open a job page and read the eligibility line in the posting's own words. That is the source of truth, not the marketing site.
- Country pages on this directory lead with roles posted for that country, not with worldwide copies given a local name.
- Timezone rarely matters for async rating. It matters for live interviews. Book those when you can sit uninterrupted with camera and screen share.
- Identity checks usually want a government ID from the country you claimed. A VPN during that step is how people get banned.

What you need at home
- A quiet room for the first interview. Later work is often headphones and a rubric.
- A computer that can share a full screen. A phone is not enough for most assessments.
- A payment method the platform actually supports in your country. Check that before you invest an evening.
- The hours. Remote does not mean leftover minutes at midnight. A failed first attempt can close that project for you.
A role must advertise at least $10/hr to appear here. Remote work at a lower advertised rate exists on the platforms' own boards and is not in these figures.
Common questions
- Can I do AI training jobs from any country?
- Only if the listing says so. Worldwide-remote roles exist. Country-restricted roles exist. The job page quotes the eligibility; this site does not override it.
- Do I need to be online at set hours?
- Usually no, after you are accepted. Interviews and the occasional live review are the exceptions. Read the posting for a minimum-hours or overlap line.
- How much do remote AI training jobs pay?
- On this directory, typical advertised top rates of $55–$120/hr (median $85/hr, from 449 distinct advertised rates across 8 platforms). Country can change the band even on the same title. Use the country page for where you live rather than the global headline.
