Data Security & DLP Analyst (AI Training)
About the Role
Data breaches don't happen in textbooks — they happen in cloud misconfigurations, shadow IT, and miscategorized sensitive files. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build models that genuinely understand how data risk works in the real world.
We're looking for experienced data security and DLP professionals to help us do that. Your hands-on knowledge of how sensitive information is exposed, detected, and protected will directly shape the reasoning capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
This is a remote, flexible contract role — you set your hours and work on your own schedule.
- Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Who You Are
* 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations * Familiar with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) * Practical understanding of how data risk plays out across modern enterprise environments * Able to think critically about edge cases, gray areas, and real-world policy enforcement challenges * Self-directed and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have

Why Join Us
* Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs * Fully remote and asynchronous — work when and where it suits you * Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global expert community * Make a meaningful contribution to AI safety and responsible AI development * Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
