AfterQuery is seeking Manufacturing Experts to create and refine production and operations challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate manufacturing scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex production principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world manufacturing challenges with precision and operational insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven manufacturing practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of industrial technology.

Responsibilities - Develop high-quality manufacturing questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as production planning, quality control, lean manufacturing, process optimization, supply chain management, equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and more. - Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to manufacturing best practices and industry standards. - Collaborate with a team of manufacturing and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Required qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Proven experience in manufacturing operations, production management, or industrial engineering with a robust understanding of various manufacturing processes and systems. - Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred qualifications - Multiple years of manufacturing experience or substantial operations management experience, ideally across diverse production environments and industries. - Prior involvement in process improvement initiatives, industry publications, or manufacturing technology projects. - Lean Six Sigma certification or professional engineering (PE) license is a plus. - Familiarity with AI or technology-driven manufacturing applications (Industry 4.0, IIoT, etc.) is a plus.
