About the Role

What if your JavaScript expertise could directly influence how AI writes and understands code for millions of developers around the world? We're looking for experienced JavaScript developers to evaluate, critique, and improve AI-generated code — ensuring the next generation of AI coding tools meets the standards real engineers actually care about.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your own hours and work as much or as little as suits you, between 10 and 40 hours per week.

What You'll Do

* Review and evaluate AI-generated JavaScript code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to modern ES6+ standards * Write high-quality JavaScript solutions to problems spanning a range of difficulty levels — from fundamentals to advanced patterns * Craft clear, human-readable explanations of code logic and problem-solving approaches * Identify edge cases, bugs, and failure modes in AI-generated web and backend code * Provide structured, detailed feedback that directly improves how AI models generate and reason about JavaScript * Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

* Strong command of core JavaScript concepts — async/await, closures, prototypes, DOM manipulation, and the event loop * 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript and frameworks like React, Node.js, or Vue * Sharp eye for code quality — you notice when something is technically correct but practically poor * Clear written communicator who can explain technical concepts in plain, accessible language * Detail-oriented and consistent — you bring the same rigour to evaluation that you bring to your own code * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred

Nice to Have

* Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training or evaluation workflows * Familiarity with TypeScript, testing frameworks, or performance profiling tools * Background in code review, technical writing, or developer education * Exposure to backend JavaScript environments and REST API design
