What We're Researching
We're running a paid study on the evaluation and selection process for professional espresso equipment. High-end specialty cafes require precise machinery to maintain extraction quality and workflow efficiency. This research aims to document the detailed methodologies industry experts use when outfitting a new commercial coffee program. How It Works
You will deliver a comprehensive, 4,000-word written guide detailing your methodology for evaluating commercial espresso gear. Alongside the written guide, you will record a 30-45 minute narrated screen-share session. During this recording, you will walk through a live grinder selection workflow, comparing equipment specifications and explaining your reasoning. This is a remote, asynchronous task that you can complete on your own schedule. Who This Is For
We welcome professional baristas, specialty cafe owners, coffee consultants, and commercial espresso machine technicians.
