Senior Internal Auditor (SOX and IT Audit)
$80/hr
About this role, in AfterQuery's words
AfterQuery is seeking experienced Internal Auditors to complete realistic internal audit assignments end to end, used to train and evaluate AI models. In this remote, flexible contract role, you will request and review evidence, reconcile populations, test controls, document exceptions, and write findings memos with record-level support. You will also review audit tasks for accuracy, evidence sufficiency, expected answers, and grading criteria, including telling a confirmed control failure apart from missing evidence. The work runs 20 to 40 hours per week as an independent contractor. No prior AI experience is needed.

- Review audit tasks for accuracy, evidence sufficiency, expected answers, and grading criteria.

- Strong Excel: working with 10,000+ row datasets, joining exports across systems, resolving duplicate identities, testing effective dates and approval limits, and building formula-driven workbooks that update when inputs change.
