C++ Developer - Internal Tooling & Optimization

* Design, build, and optimize high-performance C++ systems supporting AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows * Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for large-scale data annotation, validation, and quality control * Profile and tune existing C++ codebases — hunting down bottlenecks, eliminating edge cases, and improving reliability at scale * Embed scripting languages within C++ applications to create flexible, extensible internal tooling * Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation infrastructure * Participate in synchronous design reviews to iterate on architecture and implementation decisions

Who You Are

* 3–5+ years of professional experience writing production-quality C++ * Strong full-stack development background with a deep foundation in systems programming * Experienced profiling and optimizing code for performance in data-intensive environments * Comfortable embedding scripting languages (Python, Lua, or similar) within C++ applications * Native or fluent English speaker with clear written and verbal communication skills * Able to commit 20–40 hours per week consistently

Nice to Have

* Prior experience with data annotation, data quality pipelines, or evaluation systems * Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model training infrastructure, or benchmarking pipelines * Experience with distributed systems architecture or developer tooling * Background working directly with AI research teams or production ML infrastructure
