- Native or near-native fluency in French — ideally with familiarity with Belgian French phonology and vocabulary (e.g., "septante", "nonante", local expressions)
- Exceptional listening skills with a sharp ear for nuance, tone, and subtle audio details
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to work
- Comfortable following and applying detailed style guides and formatting rules
- Able to work with imperfect audio — background noise, low quality, or overlapping speech don't throw you off
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- Strong written French skills with excellent spelling and grammar

We're looking for detail-oriented French transcriptionists based in Belgium to produce highly accurate transcriptions of spoken audio — helping train AI systems that millions of people will rely on.
This is hands-on, meaningful work that rewards precision and deep listening. You'll tackle real audio featuring multiple speakers, crosstalk, filled pauses, background noise, and natural conversational nuance — including the distinctive features of Belgian French. If you take pride in catching every word and following exacting guidelines, this role is for you.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just native-level French, strong ears, and a commitment to quality.
