How we measure pay

What it advertises

Proxion advertises
Checked 2026-10-04: its experts page and its one posting advertise $75 to $300 an hour, set by specialization, seniority and project complexity, and say pay can rise for reviewers and project leads. It says the technical test is paid and that contractors invoice and are paid bi-weekly. It publishes no individual openings with their own rate, so no rate here is read from a listing.

Proxion publishes no country list

Are there geographic restrictions? No. Proxion works with finance professionals globally

www.proxion.ai, read 2026-10-04

Its privacy policy says people working from outside the United States may do so only from countries approved for the project. It does not name those countries. source

No list, but not no limits

Proxion is run by Proxion, Inc., which its privacy policy says is a Delaware corporation headquartered in New York. US sanctions law bars a US company from doing business in a comprehensively embargoed place, whatever it publishes. As of 2026-09-06 those are Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the Crimea region of Ukraine and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine (OFAC).

That is the law Proxion operates under. This is the legal floor, not the whole picture. Russia and Belarus carry heavy sanctions without a comprehensive embargo, and a platform can decline a country for its own reasons without publishing anything. Proxion's own terms also limit the service to people who are not subject to sanctions or export restrictions that would prohibit its use. They name no country. source

We found no list of countries Proxion will or will not hire in. A listing that says Remote describes the work, not who may take it, so we do not read one as permission. Geography & eligibility

Checked 2026-10-04: its experts page answers no to the question of geographic restrictions and says it works with finance professionals globally. Its privacy policy says people working from outside the United States may do so only from countries approved for the project, and it does not name them. Its terms exclude anyone subject to sanctions or export restrictions that would prohibit use of the service.

The honest read

Checked 2026-10-04: Proxion, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in New York, hires finance professionals as independent contractors to build and review financial models, write expert questions and answers, and grade AI outputs. It asks for at least two years in investment banking, private equity or structured finance and at least 15 hours a week. The steps are an application, a screen, a paid technical test, an interview and onboarding. Its privacy policy names Persona for identity checks, Checkr or another provider for background screening where permitted, and Deel for payments. It has one generic posting on its own site and no job board, so nothing from it is listed here.
