About the Role

What if your mastery of Norwegian could directly shape how AI communicates with millions of people? We're looking for Norwegian language experts to evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Norwegian-language content. Your linguistic insight will influence how AI understands, generates, and communicates in Norwegian — making a real and lasting impact on the language's representation in cutting-edge technology.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to native and near-native Norwegian speakers with a sharp eye for language quality. No prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do

* Review AI-generated Norwegian translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness * Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues * Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Norwegian * Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality * Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

* Native or near-native fluency in Norwegian (Bokmål and/or Nynorsk) * Strong written communication skills in Norwegian * Solid command of contemporary Norwegian usage across different contexts and registers * Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale * Detail-oriented and consistent in your approach * No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

* Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics * Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows * Knowledge of regional Norwegian language variation or dialects * Background in writing, journalism, or communications
