About the Role
We're looking for French language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on French-language content. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will directly shape how AI understands, generates, and teaches French — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken and studied languages.
- Organization: Alignerr - Type: Hourly Contract - Location: Remote - Commitment: Minimum 15 hours/week, fully asynchronous
What You'll Do

* Evaluate AI-generated French speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality * Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+ * Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps using expert judgment * Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate French * Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models * Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
Who You Are
* Native or near-native fluency in French * Experience teaching French or evaluating learner language * Strong written communication skills in both French and English (C1/C2) * Solid familiarity with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks * Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher * Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment * No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
* Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing * Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology * Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
