Revenue Operations Specialist (SaaS)
up to $100/hr
About this role, in micro1's words
We’re looking for people who have personally owned the systems behind revenue and customer motions, whether under revenue ops, sales ops, CS ops, or implementation. The work rewards operational judgment: knowing which rule wins when two policies conflict, and what to leave alone.
What you'll do
Scope of Work
- Work through realistic revenue operations scenarios — CRM data models, process design, configuration tradeoffs — and explain the reasoning behind each choice.
- Resolve conflicts between operational policies: which rule takes precedence, why, and what you would deliberately leave unchanged.
- Design workflows that hold up under compliance constraints like approvals, access controls, and audit requirements.
Show all 5 itemsHide the other 2 in Scope of Work
- Diagnose revenue data problems — duplicates, broken lifecycle states, inconsistent metric definitions — and explain how you’d find the root cause and prevent recurrence.
- Flag ambiguous or underspecified scenarios instead of resolving them silently.
Candidate background
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on in SaaS revenue, sales, CS, or implementation operations — not adjacent or management-only exposure.
- Direct CRM ownership (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) with configuration experience, plus two or more connected tools: billing, CPQ, ticketing, or project tracking.
- Track record of resolving policy conflicts and explaining tradeoffs, ideally in fintech, healthtech, insurtech, or complex multi-product environments.
- Able to explain your reasoning clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Alex's experience on micro1A personal account, not a promise about your project
Alexruns this site and has worked on micro1 himself. Written 31 Aug 2026.
- Every interview I took used an AI interviewer, and some included a timed business exercise of around 25 minutes.
- On later applications, interview reuse on micro1 was often partial, and I still answered questions about one to three additional skills.
- I entered a requested rate for the job. One listing showed about $180 an hour. I requested about $160 and received the rate I entered. Those amounts are approximate, and this describes my application, not proof that a lower request caused acceptance.
- Onboarding and setup came to about 2 hours, with clear materials. Of the three platforms I worked on, it was the easiest transition into work. That is an estimate from my projects, not a platform average.
- On my micro1 project, Hubstaff showed time and mouse or keyboard activity, not screenshots, app names or website history. That describes what I saw, not every possible setup.
- I was paid for hours logged, once every 14 days, and I have not experienced late or incorrect payments. That was my arrangement.
One person's applications, not a promise about yours.
