We are conducting a paid interview to evaluate how professionals use video editing tools and manage their creative processes. We want experienced video editors to walk us through their typical project workflows and discuss the software they rely on daily.
What We're Researching
We're running a paid study on the day-to-day workflows of video editing professionals. We want to understand the creative processes that drive project completion and how current software tools either help or hinder those efforts. Your insights will directly inform the development of next-generation editing features. How It Works
You will participate in a remote, AI-moderated interview to discuss your recent editing projects. During the session, you will walk us through your current software setup and explain how you tackle different stages of the creative process. We will ask you to react to a few hypothetical workflow scenarios and describe your preferred workarounds for common technical issues. You will not need to screen-share or edit any actual footage during this conversation. Who This Is For
We welcome professional video editors, motion graphics artists, and post-production specialists. You should have hands-on experience managing end-to-end creative processes using standard industry software. Candidates who regularly work on commercial, freelance, or long-form content are strongly encouraged to apply.
What you would do
• Discuss your end-to-end workflow for recent video projects
• Detail the specific software and tools you use for post-production
• Explain how you troubleshoot common creative and technical bottlenecks
• Provide feedback on potential improvements to standard editing workflows
Who this is for
• Professional experience in video editing or post-production
• Familiarity with industry-standard editing software
• Comfortable discussing your creative process in a recorded interview
