Transcription pays up to a stated figure per audio hour transcribed and voice acting a flat figure per recorded hour of finished audio, and both take several working hours to produce, so they are shown per task here and never as an hourly rate

$12 to $30/hr effective, once unpaid onboarding and waiting for tasks are counted. Generalist calls net about $12 to $17 an hour of your time and the video project $20 to $30, but a daily call cap starting at five calls decides how many hours you can sell.

Its public board showed 43 open roles on 2026-09-05, each on its own page with a rate, no account needed. Payouts are weekly. No list, but not no limits

Babel Audio is run by David AI Labs, Inc., a Delaware company. US sanctions law bars a US company from doing business in a comprehensively embargoed place, whatever it publishes. As of 2026-09-06 those are Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the Crimea region of Ukraine and the so-called Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine (OFAC).

That is the law Babel Audio operates under, not something Babel Audio has said about itself. This is the legal floor, not the whole picture. Russia and Belarus carry heavy sanctions without a comprehensive embargo, and a platform can decline a country for its own reasons without publishing anything. Anywhere else, Babel Audio has published nothing, so we cannot tell you.
