About the Role
We're looking for Italian language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Italian-language content. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will directly shape how AI understands, generates, and teaches Italian — making a real impact on millions of learners worldwide.

What You'll Do

* Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality * Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+ * Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment * Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally authentic Italian * Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models * Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
Who You Are
* Native or near-native fluency in Italian * Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language * Strong written communication skills in both Italian and English (C1/C2) * Solid understanding of CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns * Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher * Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment * No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
* Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing * Familiarity with AI-powered language tools or educational technology * Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
