We are running a paid study to determine what constitutes an excellent technical presentation. We are looking for technical professionals to review and rank slide decks from their field.
What We're Researching
We are running a paid study to determine what constitutes a highly effective technical presentation. Our goal is to train our models to understand how professionals structure and communicate complex technical information. This work feeds directly into improving automated evaluations of design reviews, roadmaps, and postmortems. How It Works
You will review various technical slide decks relevant to your field on a flexible, remote schedule. During your tasks, you will examine materials like design reviews, experiment readouts, and model launches. After reviewing the materials, you will rank them based on clarity, structure, and overall effectiveness. This asynchronous work requires you to provide thoughtful feedback on why certain presentations succeed where others fail. Who This Is For
We are looking for experienced technical professionals who regularly create or review engineering presentations. We welcome software engineers, engineering managers, product managers, and data scientists. Candidates should be highly familiar with technical documents like postmortems, roadmaps, and architecture reviews.
What you would do
• Review technical slide decks from your specific domain
• Rank presentations based on clarity, structure, and technical communication
• Evaluate design reviews, roadmaps, and experiment readouts
• Provide clear feedback on what makes a specific presentation effective
Who this is for
• Professional experience in a technical or engineering role
• Familiarity with creating or reviewing technical presentations
• Comfortable evaluating design reviews, postmortems, or roadmaps
• Ability to articulate clear feedback on technical communication
